NICKY TURNER 1975- 2022
At the end of last year Nicky passed away unexpectedly. He had been with the project since the beginning in 2011. He attended every session, except when he was banned, which happened from time to time. He wasn't always easy but his character shaped the whole Project. He loved a laugh, he welcomed new people and he loved making mosaics.
We miss him a lot but his memory lives on in our hearts .

In memory of Yogachandran Balakrishnan - member of the Hackney Mosaic Project and talented artist, mosaicist, engineer and marathon runner. You are missed by all of us.
Also in memory of Len Hunter who died earlier in 2019. Len was a regular member of the Project from 2013 to 2017 and was much loved for his quiet but sharp sense of humour. He produced some highly imaginative and original work and is a great loss to the world.
