In 2026 we were again commissioned to make tabes for Southwold Pier. The new owners loved the tables and wanted all the outdoor tables to have mosaic tops so we made two octopuses, a crab, a seagull , a porpoise and a turbot.
And we all went to Southwold to see them in-situ!
In 2019 we were commissioned to make 10 new tables for the Boardwalk Restaurant on Southwold Pier. A previous set of tables, made 10 years ago, had deteriorated in the punishing conditions of the location, but they were very popular with the visitors so the client decided to replace them. The subjects are all the curious inhabitants of the North Sea, and this time they are pictured against dramatic dark backgrounds, inspired by Ancient mosaics of sea life.
