We were commissioned to make 10 new tables for the Boardwalk Restaurant on Southwold Pier. A previous set of tables, made 10 years ago, had deteriorated in the punishing conditions of the location, but they were very popular with the visitors so the client decided to replace them. The subjects are all the curious inhabitants of the North Sea, and this time they are pictured against dramatic dark backgrounds, inspired by Ancient mosaics of sea life.
